Client portal

Every client can have a private progress portal — a simple, branded page that shows them where things stand between sessions. It is one of AuraCRM's most useful touchpoints, and it is entirely under your control.

What a portal shows

You curate what appears. A portal can include:

  • Progress highlights and goals.
  • Homework the client agreed to, which they can check off.
  • Key updates from recent sessions.

Nothing is published to a client until you choose to include it.

Clients do not create an account. You invite a client and AuraCRM emails them a magic link that opens their portal directly. The portal view is anonymous by design — no sign-in, no password — so it is effortless for the client to open.

Homework check-off

When a client marks a homework item complete in their portal, the matching task on your side is updated to done and the change is recorded in the client's audit history. You see progress without chasing them for it. See Tasks.

Revoking access

You can revoke a portal link at any time. Once revoked, the link stops working and the visitor sees a clear "access expired" screen instead of any content. This means a magic link is safe to share and easy to retire when an engagement ends.

Why it matters

A living progress portal keeps clients engaged between sessions and gives premium practices a polished, professional surface — which, in turn, tends to drive referrals.
